AI Cut a Chinese City's District Heating Energy Waste by Over 10%

In Changsha, a district heating operator serving 60,000 people ran an AI system through a full heating season to forecast demand and catch faults before they wasted energy. Electricity consumption fell by more than 10% and the heat needed dropped 7%, while residents stayed warm.
