A Kentucky Farmer Planted 900 Acres of Corn Without Anyone in the Tractor Cab

Quint Pottinger fitted a $70,000 Sabanto autonomy kit to a John Deere 6130E and planted 900 acres of corn autonomously this spring, after a 500-acre autonomous wheat planting last fall. He has since sold two large planters, two big tractors and a combine, returning nearly $500,000 in equipment capital to his eighth-generation farm.
