Solar Overtook Coal as China's Largest Power Source
Grid-connected solar reached 1.31 terawatts in China by the end of September, passing coal's 1.30 terawatts to become the country's largest power source for the first time. Combined wind and solar now exceed 2 terawatts, and non-fossil sources make up nearly two thirds of total installed capacity.
