In England, 1,000 Companion Robots Are Helping Older People Live Independently

Vera Gadsdon, 74, is one of more than 1,000 people across England now using Cera's Genie companion robots, which remind residents to eat, drink, and take medication while keeping them company between carer visits. Trials showed a 96% success rate in prompting the right medication at the right time.
