Three New Solar Farms Bring Power to Guyana's Hinterland Villages

Three solar farms commissioned in Katoonarib, Potarinau, and Shulinab now power health centers, schools, and public facilities in Guyana's Region Nine, with the Katoonarib system providing 41.5 kW of solar capacity and 187 kWh of battery storage. The projects are part of a national push bringing sustainable energy to 56 hinterland villages.
