Surgeons in New Delhi Operate on Patients in Colombo in Sri Lanka's First Robotic Telesurgeries

Two patients at Kings Hospital Colombo were operated on by surgeons working a robotic console more than 3,000 km away in New Delhi, a first for Sri Lanka. Both procedures finished without the on-site team needing to step in, pointing to a future where specialist surgery reaches patients far from big-city hospitals.
