Glasgow Children's Hospital Now Owns the World's First Dedicated Paediatric Surgical Robot
The Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow is now the first children's hospital in the world to own a Versius Plus surgical robot solely for young patients, funded by a record 1.5 million pound donation. More than 30 procedures were completed in an evaluation phase, and the robot brings gentler keyhole surgery for cancer, urology and abdominal operations to children across Scotland.
