Gene Therapy Cured 95% of Children Born Without an Immune System.

In the largest and longest-tracked cohort of its kind, 59 of 62 children born with ADA-SCID were cured by lentiviral gene therapy, with 100% survival over seven and a half years. Kids who once would not have lived past two are now in school and playing sports.
